Feb 21, 2025Machitech has introduced the new Fiber Prime S laser cutting machine. It combines high-speed 4G acceleration with 12 to 60 kW for cutting mild steel up to 4 in. thick.
The machine, which handles a variety of heavy-duty applications, includes a Precitec cutting head that provides integrated gas mixing and focused compensation. The system also features the optional Machitech bevel head for creating complex bevel cuts, including V, X, Y, and K, with custom angles in a single operation.
The large-screen CNC features tested parameters for all cutting processes, such as bevel, remote monitoring, and intelligent path nesting. Lantek Expert Cut nesting software combines advanced nesting and optimized cutting paths with the machine’s high-speed precision, the company states.
